After years in accounting and entrepreneurship, founder Jackie discovered her passion for taxation while helping a family member resolve IRS issues. That experience revealed how many people face financial challenges not because they fail — but because no one has shown them how to align their taxes, business, and goals.
Today, Night Owl Accounting & Tax is the result of that realization — a firm focused on clarity, strategy, and real-world results for those who value both precision and partnership.
Meet Jackie Benson
EA, CRETS, MSCTA, CTRS
Jackie brings 14 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and business strategy — along with certifications as an Enrolled Agent (EA), Certified Real Estate Tax Specialist (CRETS), Main Street Certified Tax Advisor (MSCTA), and Certified Tax Resolution Specialist (CTRS).
She combines technical skill with practical experience as a real estate investor and CFO/partner in a trucking company, giving clients real-world insight, not just theory.
When she’s not helping clients navigate their finances, Jackie enjoys traveling (especially cruises), cooking, crocheting, and spending time with her partner, six children, seven grandchildren, and two small dogs on their peaceful country property.
